What podcasts series or episodes can I summarize?

If your podcast is hosted in one of the big 3 providers (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Overcast), we can most probably summarize it. 

Some podcasts that are hosted only on Spotify (usually smaller or exclusive shows) are not available for summarization, since Spotify locks access to the audio file.

How accurate are Podsmart AI summaries?

A good rule of thumb is to assume that around 80-90% of the information you see in the summaries is accurate.

We continuously work to improve our summarization algorithms, however it’s important for you to check the work in Podsmart AI closely. We try to make this easier for you by providing timestamps whenever possible for information generated with our algorithms.

Can I summarize my own audios?

Yes! Podsmart Al can process.mp3 and wma file formats. Summarization of your own audios is only accessible by you.

Keep in mind we are not HIPPA compliant, so you should not use our services to transcribe and summarize healthcare conversations that involve Personal Identifiable Data.

Is there a duration limit to the media I can summarize?

Right now you can transcribe and summarize media up to 3hrs long. We are working to extend this limit to +10hrs for those of you looking to summarize audio books.

Can I summarize videos?

Yes. At this time, only Youtube videos are enabled.

How are summaries created?

Our summarization process leverages several Artificial Intelligence (Al) and Machine Learning (ML) tools - some of which are available publicly, and some that are our own creation. Our process is not something that can easily be replicated by using the individual tools, and we feel it is one of our differentiators. Does Podsmart AI work for content in other languages?

Yes, Podsmart Al can process and summarize content from most languages. 

Moreover, you can have the content translated to another language (only English at this time).

Can I customize the summaries I create?

Yes. 

At this time you can only adjust the length, but we have big plans to enable further customization based on the kind of content summarized.

Do you offer a Free plan?

Absolutely! You can create a free account with access to most functionality and a limited amount of minutes to transcribe. This should be enough to give you a good sense of our basic functionality.

Do unused minutes carry over month to month?

No, your monthly minutes are valid only for that month.
